this is a series of photos taken of bald eagles from nesting all the way up to the point where the one juvenile that hatched grows up to full size ready to leave the nest.the photos of the juvenile are in stages from when he or she starts to lose his or her down and starts to fill in with his or her permanent feathers as you will see in the series of photos.these eagles started nesting in late february,egg hatched in mid march and the most recent of the photos of the juvenile were taken in mid may and he or she is almost ready for first flight.first flight was june 6th 2011.the last three photos were taken just a couple of days before the eagle fledged.the rest of my images are from other areas in wyoming and montana.
